Our Mission
BRAID seeks to strengthen climate and marine science by fostering mutually beneficial connections between Minority Serving Institutions and Woods Hole research institutions.
Our focus is on creating a two-way exchange that:
Opens access for faculty and students at MSIs to Woods Hole resources
Builds capacity in Woods Hole to create a welcoming and inclusive environment
Transforms policies and culture at member institutions to sustain these new capacities
Serves as a model for cross-cultural alliances throughout the geosciences
